TGFT Girl to School Annual

Due to widespread poverty and discrimination, even the brightest Tanzanian girls often are denied an education. Some 95% of them do not graduate from high school. In many families a son’s education is prioritized and girls are forced to stay at home and help with domestic chores until they marry. Promising girls are selected for TGFT sponsorship in a Tanzanian boarding high school, including all school fees, textbooks and supplies, medical care and comprehensive support.
